UYO, AKWA IBOM STATE— In a landmark transfer to update the classroom experience, the Akwa Ibom State Government has released an Expert system (AI) powered basic education reform program.
The initiative, designed to enhance fundamental literacy and numeracy, marks a significant shift towards data-driven direction in the state’s public main schools.
The programme is a core component of Governor Umo Bassey Eno’s ARISE Agenda, which focuses on education as the primary engine for human capital development and economic self-reliance.
Executed in collaboration with the global education company EIDU and the State Ministry of Education, the programme presents an AI-enabled model that provides teachers with structured, digital lesson guides.
For students, the innovation provides tailored knowing activities tailored to their specific speed and understanding levels.
Making use of technology is meant to support, instead of replace, educators. Educators will now have access to real-time information, permitting them to track the development of every kid and identify specific learning gaps before they become long-term scholastic hurdles.
