The University of Uyo, UNIUYO, has announced the resumption of studies for all undergraduate students
in Years 1 to 5 and postgraduate trainees. The 2nd term for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions will begin on Monday, 20 April 2026. The notification is clear; trainees across the listed levels are to keep in mind of the Date and follow the schedule released by the University.
to 22 May 2026: Registration with penalty Lecture period, union week and modification The lecture duration for all undergraduate trainees in Years 1 to 5 and postgraduate trainees will range from 20 April 2026 to 10
July 2026. After lectures, the schedule moves as follows:
- 13 July 2026 to 17 July 2026: Trainees’ Union week
- 20 July 2026 to 24 July 2026: Revision exercise for many years 1 to 5 students
The series is set out in plain terms; lecture period first, union week next, then modification.
UNIUYO evaluation and long getaway dates
The 2nd term examinations for Years 1 to 5 students will happen from 27 July 2026 to 21 August 2026.
After the examinations, the long trip for all Years 1 to 5 trainees will range from 24 August 2026 to 2 October 2026.
Date for the next very first semester
UNIUYO fixed 5 October 2026 as the beginning date for the first term of the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 sessions.
That closing line in the calendar gives students one more set indicate note; the next session begins on that date.
