The University of Abuja(UNIABUJA)has actually launched a notification to graduands for its 29th and 30th Combined Convocation Ceremony. The notification sets out the authorized charges for hiring convocation dress, buying convocation procedures, and gathering certificates. It also provides payment instructions, dress collection details, procession time, return due date, and a few Security rules.

Payment technique for all products
The University states that collection of any item goes through proof of payment of the stipulated amount.
All payments are to be made in favour of the University of Abuja through the REMITA platform.
Date for collection of academic dress
Collection of scholastic dress begins on 10 April 2026.
Graduands are to collect their gowns at their respective Faculties, Centres, Directorates, and Schools.
Procession time and entry due date
Graduands are to put together in front of the Senate Building at 8:30 am for the procession.
The notice adds a firm warning; no graduand will be enabled into the Convocation Ground after 9:00 am.
Deadline for returning scholastic gowns
Academic dress need to be returned not behind 6:00 pm on Monday, 21 April 2026.
Late return will attract an additional charge of 5 Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) per day.
Security notification for graduands and visitors
The University states that luggage and bags will not be enabled into the Convocation arena.
It also states the cars and truck sticker label offered should be pasted on vehicles for simple instructions of visitors to designated car park by University security personnel.
