
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has actually approved a brand-new set of visits across key federal education institutions, in a move focused on enhancing governance and enhancing service delivery in the sector.
Amongst the consultations, Modupe Adeola Adelabu was called Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Examinations Council (NECO), while Bongfa Binfa was selected Rector of the Federal Polytechnic N’yak-Shendam in Plateau State.
Similarly, Babatunde Salako was appointed Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), and Chinwe Veronica Anunobi was reappointed as Director/Chief Executive of the National Library of Nigeria.
The President also retained Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi as Registrar/Chief Executive of NECO and reappointed Idris M. Bugaje as Executive Secretary of NBTE for a 2nd and last five-year term.
The consultations, according to the presidency, are expected to improve institutional management and reposition the affected companies for more efficient service shipment.
