The financing pot will be readily available to undergraduate students applying for the next academic year at Tetr, with the worth of each scholarship dependent on specific cases.
It follows “tremendous” interest from the UK and Europe, Priyank Jain, Tetr’s director of undergraduate programs, told The PIE News.
“The quality of the kids from Europe in the past two years has actually been terrific. They’re doing incredible things,” he stated.
“It might be a part scholarship or full scholarship relying on the benefit [of the candidate],” he explained.
Jain informed The PIE that roughly 15% of Tetr’s present mate– approximately 200 students– are European, 30% are from India, 30% from Latin America and 20% from North America, with other students from the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
The reasoning behind the scholarship was easy, said Jain– to attract applications from trainees who match Tetr’s innovative outlook. “We wanted to encourage more kids who potentially do not learn about us … to take a look,” he discussed.
