The Vice-Chancellor, Teacher Muhammad Ibrahim Yakasai, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, Churchgoers, and the university neighborhood, has welcomed members of the public to participate in the occasion.

. The venue is Lecture Hall B, Profession and Income Advancement Centre, Sule Lamido University.
Teacher Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, FCSN, MNIM, who functions as the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, will provide the lecture.
The lecture is entitled “Climate Durable Farming and Youth Engagement: Strategies for Changing the Agricultural Sector in Jigawa State and Beyond.”
The occasion will be chaired by His Excellency Alhaji Umar Namadi, FCA, Executive Governor of Jigawa State.
Main convocation ceremony date and venue
The main convocation event will happen on Saturday, 11 April 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
