
Lagos State Guv, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday received the Dean and Creator of Rome Company School, Teacher Antonio Ragusa, and his delegation at Lagos House, Marina, as part of efforts to deepen collaboration in education, leadership advancement and human capital development.
The conference focused on a shared vision of placing Lagos as a leading centre for learning, innovation and understanding on the African continent.
Guv Sanwo-Olu revealed that conversations with the delegation explored opportunities for tactical partnerships focused on reinforcing education, leadership training and human capital development in the state.
According to the governor, Lagos is dedicated to developing and sustaining platforms that make it possible for talents and knowledge to thrive.
He kept in mind that while knowledge and talent are plentiful throughout the state, the responsibility of government is to continue to provide the right environment and support systems that will assist individuals and institutions flourish.
The engagement underscores the Lagos State Government’s continuous efforts to forge worldwide partnerships efficient in improving the state’s education sector, promoting development and gearing up locals with the abilities required to compete in a quickly developing worldwide economy.
