
Lagos State Guv, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday commanded the investiture of Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo as the sixth Chancellor of Lagos State University.
The ceremony, held at Lagos House in Ikeja, was attended by essential officials of the institution, including the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Babatunde Ogala, Registrar Emmanuel Fanu, and Vice-Chancellor, Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello.
Oba Ogunsanwo, the Alara of Ilara Kingdom in Epe, was officially set up as the university’s sixth chancellor in the presence of dignitaries, standard rulers, and members of the scholastic community.
Speaking at the event, Guv Sanwo-Olu described the visit as a significant milestone for the organization, revealing confidence in the new chancellor’s ability to add to the ongoing growth and advancement of LASU.
