New AI Command Center Helps Track AI Agents and

Information defense platform AvePoint has introduced a command center to help organizations monitor expert system agents, resolving security threats and rising costs as companies deploy more automatic AI tools.
The AgentPulse Command Center functions as a central computer registry that allows organizations to track which AI representatives are running across their systems, who is using them, and what information they can access. The tool belongs to AvePoint’s Self-confidence Platform, which manages data security and governance for collaboration software.
“As organizations rapidly release AI agents to drive productivity, they’re discovering that these effective tools present significant security and information governance challenges that legacy IT controls weren’t developed to address,” stated Jeremy Thake, primary designer at AvePoint, in a declaration.
The Jersey City, NJ-based business pointed out research revealing 75% of organizations using AI experienced an information breach in the past year. Gartner has actually forecasted that 40% of agentic AI tasks could be deserted by late 2027 due to insufficient risk controls.
AgentPulse permits administrators to recognize instances where AI agents have excessive access to files and make corrections within the platform. The system also tracks high-activity agents that produce frequent interactions or access large amounts of data, helping companies identify sources of unanticipated costs.
“Without dedicated oversight, companies can rapidly find themselves with unforeseen charges from high-activity AI agents, storage expenses from redundant or outdated information accessed by AI agents, and the potentially devastating cost of an information breach,” stated John Peluso, chief technology officer at AvePoint.
The tool supports multiple AI agent types, consisting of Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit, Copilot Studio, and SharePoint representatives. It follows an October update to the Self-confidence Platform that added compliance enforcement features for AI representatives.
