MTN Scholarship Award 2024 Application Information Released. Applications for the MTN Foundation Scholarship 2024 has actually begun. The MTN Scholarship Plan is a yearly scholarship award that looks for to acknowledge and reward qualified high performing trainees. It is comprised of the MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Plan (MTN STSS) and the MTN Scholarship Plan for Blind Students (MTN SSBS).
Under both scholarships, qualified 300 level students studying Science & Innovation associated courses and blind trainees studying in Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education) throughout Nigeria are granted scholarships worth N200,000.00 annually till graduation as long as they maintain the required grades.
The scholarship provides financial help to trainees who might otherwise be unable to pay for their tertiary education and aims to acknowledge and reward academic excellence.
Eligibility and Conditions: 1. Applicants from public Universities and Colleges of Education in Nigeria must be full time undergraduates in 300 level/3rd year.
2. Candidates from public Universities and Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) rating of 3.5 or its comparable (2:1).
3. Applicants from public Polytechnics must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) program and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma programme (HND). Direct entry level trainees should have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 (upper credit) from the OND programme and need to have protected admission into 300 level/3rd year in a public.
