
The Lagos State University of Science and Innovation has broadened its global partnerships through a new Memorandum of Understanding signed with SGH Warsaw School of Economics, a popular European business organization.
The university revealed this in a statement issued on Thursday by its communications unit, noting that the contract was formalised at the SGH school in Warsaw, Poland, and is anticipated to produce scholastic and professional chances for trainees, scientists, and staff.
Vice-Chancellor of LASUSTECH, Olumuyiwa Odusanya, who signed the arrangement on behalf of the Nigerian organization, described the development as a significant improvement in the university’s internationalisation agenda.
According to him, the partnership reinforces LASUSTECH’s presence within the international academic community while broadening access to global partnerships for both students and faculty members.
The agreement was signed for the Polish organization by its Rector, Piotr Wachowiak.
The declaration noted that the LASUSTECH group in Warsaw included the Dean of the College of Applied Social Sciences, Olumuyiwa Olamade, together with Ayo Eso, who took part in discussions on techniques for executing the collaboration.
Under the agreement, LASUSTECH is anticipated to benefit from SGH’s worldwide accreditation framework and global academic connections, leading the way for initiatives such as student exchange programmes with transferable credits, professors exchanges, and collaborative research study activities.
The collaboration will likewise support joint research study projects in locations consisting of financial addition and digital economy studies, while expanding access to academic products and resources.
