The management of Confluence University of Science and Innovation has actually approved 5 students for various disciplinary offenses, including alleged same-sex relationships, assault and cyber-related infractions.
The disciplinary steps were authorized during the organization’s 30th Regular Senate Satisfying held on April 29, 2026, following examinations by the university’s Students’ Disciplinary Committee.
In separate notices issued by the Deputy Registrar in charge of Academic Affairs, Mr Eli Usman Gbadafu, the university revealed the expulsion of 2 female undergrads determined as Ezekiel Valuable Omeneke, a 200-level Economics student, and Aku Joy Chinyere, a 200-level Accounting student, over claims of lesbianism.
Another student, Musa Abdulhakeem Onimisi of the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering, was also expelled after he was discovered culpable in a case including alleged physical attack and stabbing of a fellow trainee.

In a different disciplinary decision, Agbakaru Kosikochukwu, a 200-level Radiography trainee, was suspended from the university for one scholastic session for participation in a fight and physical assault.
The university said the sanctions formed part of ongoing efforts to maintain discipline, protect students and preserve acceptable requirements of conduct within the school community.
