
Management of Igbinedion Education Centre in Benin City, Edo State, has expelled students associated with a bullying and physical assault incident captured in a video presently circulating online.
In an official declaration provided on March 13, 2026, the school described the behaviour seen in the viral video footage as “deeply disturbing” and a clear offense of the organization’s values and disciplinary standards.
According to the declaration, the school preserves a strict zero-tolerance policy toward bullying, cultism, intimidation, harassment, and any kind of violence within its community.

“We know a video presently distributing online revealing a severe occurrence of bullying and physical attack involving trainees at the school. The behaviour displayed in the video is deeply troubling and stands in direct infraction of the worths and requirements we promote,” the management stated.
Following an immediate investigation, the organization validated that the students responsible for the act had been expelled with instant impact.
“Following an immediate investigation, the students responsible have been expelled from the school with immediate result. Such conduct will never ever be endured within our school neighborhood,” the statement added.
The school likewise highlighted that the security and wellness of trainees stay its top concern, keeping in mind that support is being provided to those impacted while the school works closely with their families.
