Ellucian Formally Gets Anthology’s SIS and ERP Service
The tactical restructuring announced by Anthology in October is playing out as prepared, with Ellucian finishing its acquisition of Anthology’s Student Info Systems and Enterprise Resource Preparation company on Dec. 31.
Background In the October restructuring, Anthology revealed it would divest its Business Operations, Lifecycle Engagement, and Trainee Success businesses and filing for Chapter 11 insolvency in an effort to right-size its financial resources and concentrate on its core teaching and knowing products. Ellucian stepped up as the “stalking horse” bidder for the business’s Enterprise Operations products, while Encoura accepted serve as the stalking horse bidder for the Lifecycle Engagement company, including Anthology Encompass, Reach, Advance, in addition to the Student Success organization.
Consumer Ramifications
With the Ellucian acquisition total, more than 260 Anthology SIS and ERP clients will now join Ellucian’s international neighborhood.
