The Federal Ministry of Education has actually tape-recorded a significant milestone after clinching numerous awards at the SERVICOM Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) Awards, in recognition of its dedication to service delivery, accountability, and institutional efficiency.

At the ceremony, the Ministry received a Special Recognition Award from the SERVICOM Office under the #SERVICOMWORKSHERE effort. The honour acknowledges the Ministry’s continual efforts in bridging the space between federal government and residents through enhanced service shipment.

The Ministry also became the second-best performing Ministerial SERVICOM Unit (MSU), further earning commendation for maintaining high service requirements throughout its operations.

In a strong demonstration of its digital change drive, the Ministry protected five additional awards in Details and Interaction Technology (ICT), highlighting its strategic deployment of digital tools to increase efficiency and service efficiency.

The awards were formally presented to the Permanent Secretary, Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan, during the Ministry’s 2nd management conference for the very first quarter of 2026. The discussion was led by the Director of ICT, Zainab Abubakar, together with Yiman Innocent of the Reforms Coordination and Service Enhancement Department.

Reaffirming the Ministry’s vision, he prompted directors and departmental heads to enhance internal procedures, adding that the efficiency of each system directly impacts the total effectiveness of the institution.

The recognitions, he noted, work as both a recognition of continuous reforms and a call to sustain high requirements in service shipment.

“These acknowledgments underscore our duty as a leading organization in the Federal Civil Service. We should continue to uphold professionalism, precision, and proactive service delivery, making sure that every department contributes efficiently to our collective required,” said Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan.
