Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka, has launched the rescheduled program of events for its 18th Convocation
Event for the 2024/2025 scholastic session. The notification covers routine, sandwich, SLT, weekend, part-time and affiliate graduands, as well as parents, guardians and members of the general public.

The convocation ceremony will consist of the award of Diplomas, admission into First Degrees, and the award of Greater Degrees and Prizes.

Convocation Drama will occur by 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, 30 April 2026
Creator’s Day Thanksgiving Service will hold at All Saints’ Anglican Chapel, Website III, Abraka Campus.
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Alumni Day and Discussion of Awards will hold by 2:00 p.m.
. The awards will cover Very first Class Graduating Students, Best Graduating Trainees in each Department and Faculty, and the total three Finest Students of the University.
Saturday, 2 May 2026
This is the primary Convocation Day.
The grand finale will include:
- Award of Diplomas, First Degrees and Higher Degrees
- Investiture of Teacher Emeritus
- Conferment of Honorary Degrees
- Award of Prizes
