The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has applauded the Kano State Government for prioritising education following the presentation of consultation letters to 4,900 newly recruited instructors and 3,688 Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) Friend V Facilitators.
Alausa gave the commendation throughout an official ceremony in Kano participated in by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
According to the minister, the recruitment workout brings the overall variety of teachers employed by the state in a single exercise to nearly 9,000 and over 16,000 within the last 3 years.
Kano’s Teachers He described quality instructors as the structure of every strong education system and stated Kano’s investment in human capital would help shape the future of the nation.
The minister also praised the state federal government’s decision to assign 32 percent of its budget plan to education, explaining it as a clear presentation of commitment to enhancing discovering results for kids throughout the state. Dealing with the recently hired instructors, Alausa urged them to release their responsibilities with professionalism, integrity and excellence.
“Teaching is the profession that shapes every other occupation, and to whom much is provided, much is expected,” he said.As part of his final day activities in Kano, the minister examined the Tarda Smart School in Ungogo, went to Bayero University, Kano, and commissioned the new Federal government Women Secondary School in Dangwaro.
Kano’s Educators Getting their Letters He said the investments in wise learning environments, teacher quality and broadened access to education align with efforts to equip young Nigerians with the understanding and skills needed to succeed in the 21st century.
Alausa included that the Federal Government would continue to work in collaboration with state federal governments under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Program to implement the Nigeria Education Sector Renewal Initiative (NESRI).
According to him, the effort is focused on reinforcing instructor quality, expanding access to education, modernising learning infrastructure and developing the human capital needed to position Nigeria as a knowledge-based economy.
