
That rejection struck hard. Deborah recalls in a Facebook post how she cried deeply that year, a moment that never made it to social networks however formed her journey. In 2021, the dissatisfaction remained, triggering her to lose motivation momentarily.
And hence, she did not request admission that year, missing out on the chance as the application window closed. However still, she did not give up on her dream to further.In 2022, Deborah
found strength again. With restored faith and decision, she obtained Direct Entry into TASUED, and this time, she was used admission. That single minute changed everything.Years of waiting, pain, and persistence finally began to settle. Deborah stayed focused throughout her research studies, and in the end, she graduated with a Superior degree.Reflecting on her journey, she shared the lots of silent struggles she sustained includi ng the tears after stopping working WAEC in 2014, the disappointment of scoring 178 in JAMB due to technical problems in 2016 and the heartbreak of not gaining admission into FUTA in 2020. Through it all, she hung on to faith. According to her, those 11 years were filled with waiting, perseverance, and rely on God. “This journey wasn’t by my strength … God carried me, she said.Today, as a proud graduate , Deborah recalls with thankfulness, acknowledging how far she has actually come in spite of
the odds.Now, with her bachelor’s degree in hand, she is setting her sights greater, planning to pursue a Master’s degree and continue her scholastic journey.
