The Department of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering and the Sustainability Office of TU Dortmund University are when again jointly organizing the general public, interdisciplinary lecture series “Environment: Change, Values, Science” in the winter season term 2025/26. The series provides fundamental info on environment security, offers a summary of the stars involved, the consequences and threats of environment security, and gives insights into environment research from numerous disciplines. At the exact same time, it aims to encourage participants to end up being actively participated in climate defense themselves.
The fourteen lectures begin on 17 October 2025 and will happen on Fridays from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., partially as online webinars and partially in person.
The lecture series is targeted at students of all departments along with the general public. It can be taken as a module within the studium fundamentale or as an elective module in the Department of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering. Within the studium oecologicum, it counts as a fundamental module.
