
The Federal government has actually hailed the effective rollout of the National Examinations Council (NECO) Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the 2026 Senior School Certificate Assessment (SSCE), explaining it as a considerable step toward improving examination integrity and speeding up digital improvement in Nigeria’s education sector.

Likewise speaking, the Registrar of NECO, Teacher Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi, revealed that 1,378,048 candidates registered for the 2026 SSCE, consisting of more than 700,000 female prospects.
