Throughout that period, she faced uncertainty, worry, and aggravation as she enjoyed her plans stall.Rather than permitting the setback to define her, she focused on individual development, remained active in her regional church, sang in the choir, volunteered at programmes, and continued improving herself while exploring global opportunities.Just as opportunities abroad began to emerge, the worldwide COVID-19 lockdown disrupted itinerary and delayed her dreams as soon as again. And that situation left her ravaged. “I was crushed and began slipping into anxiety. It seemed like the entire world was against me,” she showed. With the support of her household and her faith, she stood firm through the difficult duration.
Finally, in 2021, after travel constraints were lifted, she protected the chance to move to Turkey and start her university education.Arriving in a new nation featured its own difficulties. Amaka needed to adapt to a brand-new culture, language, and environment.She battled insecurity while at the same time dealing with documentation problems, accommodation troubles, monetary restraints, and the difficulty of discovering Turkish.At one point, she struggled to find ideal lodging for more than a year, directly prevented scams, and even had to reside in a hotel for a whole month.Also, her research studies were also
disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and two significant earthquakes that impacted Turkey, one of which forced classes to move online temporarily.Despite these obstacles, Amaka stayed concentrated on her objectives. She continued serving in church, took part in leadership functions, anchored youth programmes, and operated in media ministry while preserving scholastic excellence. Her persistence ultimately settled. 7 years after graduating from secondary school, she finished her bachelor’s degree with first-rate honours in New Media and Communication and was named the Best Graduating Trainee and Valedictorian of the
Class of 2025. Discussing the achievement, Amaka described the minute she resolved her university neighborhood as both emotional and surreal. “Speaking in front of my entire university was surreal for me. This young Nigerian girl, who spent her developmental years in Lagos, was now standing in front of an international crowd in a foreign land, representing the Nigerian youth,”she said.According to her, the accomplishment reinforced her belief that quality has no geographical limits and that Nigerian trainees can grow anywhere in the world.Reflecting on the journey, Amaka acknowledged the sleepless nights, hidden battles, and challenges she conquered along the method.” Through the sleepless nights, secret tears, and quiet battles
