4 graduates of the Professors of Law at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, have made First Class Honours in the just recently concluded Bar Final Evaluations of the Nigerian Law School.
The graduates are Onu Goodness Eyinehi, Zubairu Umar Farouq, Nwafor Thelma Nkechi, and Ibrahim Fatika.
Responding to the achievement, the Vice-Chancellor of ABU, Adamu Ahmed, described the task as “a proud minute for the university and a reflection of its continued dedication to scholastic excellence.”
He commended not only the Very first Class graduates but also other trainees of the Professors who passed the Bar assessments at various levels, advising them to remain worthy ambassadors of the organization in their future endeavours.
Also speaking, the Dean of the Professors of Law, Salim B. Magashi, applauded the graduates for their discipline and commitment.
“Achieving a Very First Class at the Nigerian Law School is an extremely demanding and competitive accomplishment. It requires sustained intellectual rigor, clarity of thought, and a remarkable grasp of both substantive and procedural law. These graduates have shown these qualities in full step, emerging amongst the very best in the nation,” he said.
Magashi added that the success shows the strength of the Faculty’s scholastic training and mentorship, describing it as a source of pride for the university and an inspiration to current students.
He revealed optimism that the graduates would make considerable contributions to the legal profession, judiciary, academia, and public service, while motivating those who did not pass the Bar examinations to remain steadfast and strive for success in subsequent attempts.
