Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited, NAE, on behalf of NNPC Limited and NAE PSC, has welcomed appropriately certified Nigerian graduates to make an application for the 2026/2027 Postgraduate Scholarship Award Plan.

in a recognised Nigerian university

Overseas classification
This category is for research study in a credible abroad university.
Local classification
This classification is for research study in a recognised Nigerian university.
Authorized Courses of Study
Just candidates with a deal of admission in disciplines connected to the listed fields should apply.
The approved locations are:
- Geosciences
- Engineering, including Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical, Offshore, Environmental and Renewable
- Petroleum Economics
- Law, specifically Oil and Gas or Petroleum
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates should fulfill the stated conditions before using.
Academic requirement
The candidate must possess a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised Nigerian university.
Admission requirement
The prospect needs to have protected admission into a Nigerian or abroad university, based upon the classification selected, for an one-year Master’s Degree programme in any of the listed disciplines.
Age requirement
The applicant must not be above 28 years of age by December 2025.
NYSC requirement
The candidate must have completed the one-year National Youth Service Corps programme.
Passport requirement for overseas candidates
Candidates under the Abroad category should possess a worldwide passport with a credibility duration of a minimum of one year from September 2025.
What Shortlisted Candidates Must Anticipate
NAE states that shortlisted prospects will receive details of the qualifying test through SMS and email.
The notice likewise states:
- shortlisted prospects will be required to take an ability test
- only shortlisted candidates will be called for the aptitude test
- rigorous compliance with the mentioned guidelines is needed
