• Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes.
• Master’s Degree Programmes (i.e., LL.M, M.A., M.Ed., M.Sc., etc).
• Professional Master’s Degree Programmes (i.e. EMBA, MAG, MARPM, MBA, MBF, MCrim., MDF, MDM, MDSS, MEM, MESM, MFM, MGIS, MHDM, MILD, MILR, MLA, MMAM, MMP, MPA, MPE, MILES PER HOUR, MPIA, MPM, MRM, MRPP, MSEM, MSIS, MTL, MTPM, MTTFL, MUD, MULTP, EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN, PMLSM, MIT, MED&IM, etc).
• Master of Viewpoint (M.Phil.) and Medical Professional of Approach (Ph.D.) programs (M.Phil./ Ph.D. candidates are needed to contact the relevant Departments for schedule of Supervisors/vacancies before applying).

There is flexibility in the mode of research study with Full Time, Part-time, Executive and Open Range Learning (ODL) options as appropriate.

Application Guidelines

1. Sale of Application begins on Tuesday, 7th April and ends on Friday, 24th July, 2026.
2. Completed Application are to be submitted ONLINE not later than Friday, 31st July, 2026.
3. Visit the School of Postgraduate Studies University of Lagos Website, https://spgs.unilag.edu.ng, Click “APPLY” link
4. Confirm accessibility and your eligibility of the wanted course by Clicking View Programmes’ Entry Requirement, Select Postgraduate and pick the desire Programme to see Admission Requirement.
5. Click the “APPLY” link, Start a Fresh Application, choose the Postgraduate choice from the Application Type menu
6. Complete the Pre-Application Form to acquire a Payment Reference Number. (please print the payment suggestions)
7. Continue to make payment of the non-refundable fee of N40,000.00 (Forty Thousand Naira Only) for the Kind, and charges through any of the below options:

8. After payment, return to the School of Postgraduate Researches website https://spgs.unilag.edu.ng, click “APPLY” link, then “Continue Application” link, login with ‘Payment Referral Number’ and supply surname in lowercase as password.
9. Total the Application and upload digital passport photograph (jpeg format) which need to not be more than 15KB in size and need to be on a white background. The appropriate measurement is width: 275 pixels or 35mm, height: 314 pixels or 40mm. (Failure to comply with specified image format might result in disqualification.)
10. Click “SEND FORM” button if the information is appropriate, else, click DECLINE button and continue once again.

(CANDIDATES ARE RECOMMENDED TO ‘SEND TYPE’ ONLY AFTER THEY HAVE COMPLETELY FILLED THE APPLICATION FORM AS EDITING AFTER FINAL SUBMISSION ATTRACTS A N2,500 CHARGE).

Applicants are to keep in mind the following:

• Prospects are advised to read the requirements for their desired programmes thoroughly to confirm eligibility.
• Candidates awaiting Bachelor’s degree results or are currently going through Postgraduate programmes or Nigerian citizens who have actually not finished the National Youth Service Corps projects ARE NOT ELIGIBLE.
• Holders of Degrees gotten from Outreach/Satellite campuses ARE NOT ELIGIBLE.
• Every applicant is needed to upload EVERY credential listed on the application for the admission such as: (a) Degree Certificates (Not Declaration of Outcomes) (b) NYSC Certificate (c) Professional Certificates (d) other documents including O/Level Certificate, Birth Certificate or affidavit not later than 31st December, 2024, Marital documents for name modification (Marriage Certificate & Paper Publication or Court Affidavit & Paper Publication), NIN Card/Slip etc.
• . In addition to the documents listed above, Nigerian Candidates Who Studied Abroad need to upload the following: Letter of Evaluation from the Federal Ministry of Education; VISA Data Page for period of the programme/Resident Authorization; Undergrad Admission Letter from the Organization and Official Records.
