The Coimbra Group Scholarship Program is now open for applications. Under this scheme, universities in the Coimbra Group offer short-term research check outs lasting 1 to 3 months to African early-career researchers from college bodies in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Who can apply
Applicants need to fulfill all of the stated conditions.
They should be born on or after 1 January 1981. They must also be nationals and current homeowners of a Sub-Saharan African nation. Prospects currently living or studying in Europe will not be considered.
Candidates must be academic employee of a university, or an equivalent higher education body, in Sub-Saharan Africa. They need to preferably hold doctoral, postdoctoral, or comparable academic status.
Each candidate should get an acceptance letter or e-mail from a manager at the host university. The letter or e-mail need to confirm the manager’s desire to monitor the work program throughout the research stay. This document is mandatory.
The applicant must use through the Coimbra Group electronic application procedure. Just one application to one university is permitted; numerous applications will not be dealt with as valid. All info must be submitted in English.

Each person must examine the particular conditions attached to the picked Coimbra Group university.
Discover a research supervisor
The candidate must determine and get in touch with a research manager at the picked host university. This can be done through the university site or the contact e-mail address noted by the host university.
The Coimbra Group Workplace does not assist applicants find supervisors.
Get evidence of acceptance
