    SystemSpecs Children's Day Essay Competition 2026 opens for Nigerian students

    Applications are open for the SystemSpecs Children’s Day Essay Competitors 2026. The competition was introduced to give students throughout Nigeria a platform to develop and share initial concepts that can change the nation positively through infotech. This Year’s essay style puts transportation at the centre; the job is clear, and the challenge is major.

    Tabulation Essay topic for 2026 The essay subject is:”Achieving a More Secure and More Effective Transport System in Nigeria through Infotech”

    This topic asks trainees to compose on how information technology can help make transportation in Nigeria safer and more effective for people and goods throughout road, rail, air, water, and maritime transport.

    What the essay needs to resolve

    The competitors asks students to look beyond physical infrastructure and focus on how digital tools can enhance the method transport systems work.

    Entries are expected to determine real transportation issues Nigerians deal with every day, such as:

    • mishaps
    • congestion
    • freight loss
    • insecurity in transit
    • poor emergency response
    • lack of safety awareness

    Students are to propose practical, technology-driven concepts that fit daily Nigerian life and can work at scale.

    Competitors categories

    The competitors has two categories.

    Junior category

    Age 9 to 12, with a maximum of 1,000 words

    Senior classification

    Age 13 to 16, with an optimum of 1,500 words

    N1,000,000 plus 120GB data

    Second location

    N750,000 plus 90GB information

    3rd place

    N500,000 plus 60GB data

    Eligibility requirements

    The competition is open to children in Nigeria who are 9 years old and not older than 16 years by 9 February 2026.

    Each entry must be backed by a recognized school authorities, parent, or legal guardian.

    The submission needs to be the individual’s original work. Plagiarism is not enabled.
