The Nigerian Army Education Corps has actually presented an across the country academic support effort focused on enhancing students’ efficiency throughout Command Secondary Schools ahead of crucial external assessments.
The program, led by Performing Corps Commander Education, Yushau Dogara Ahmed, is developed to enhance both teaching quality and trainees’ preparedness for assessments conducted by West African Examinations Council (WAEC), National Examinations Council (NECO), and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Speaking at the launch, Ahmed directed Command Secondary Schools across the country to arrange specialised academic workshops and targeted training sessions for instructors and Senior Secondary School Three (SS3) trainees.
“All Command Secondary Schools are to arrange specialised scholastic workshops and training sessions to boost mentor efficiency and enhance trainees’ preparedness for WAEC, NECO and JAMB evaluations,” he stated.
As part of the initiative, schools will carry out extensive revision classes, academic centers, and evaluation method workshops concentrated on core subject areas. The sessions are being assisted in by knowledgeable education officers and subject specialists, providing trainees with useful assistance, modification assistance, and time management methods for evaluations.
The program, which includes a seven-day intensive training for instructors and SS3 students scheduled in between March and April 2026, becomes part of a more comprehensive effort by the Nigerian Army Education Corps to enhance educational capacity and scholastic quality.
