The concept of attracting top worldwide researchers to research in the Ruhr area is a typical thread of the entire Research Alliance Ruhr with its 4 proving ground and one college. A total of 50 new research professorships are being created, 35 of which have currently been filled. Twelve professorships are assigned to the Proving ground Chemical Sciences and Sustainability, 6 of which have already been filled.
