- have no criminal conviction from any court of skilled jurisdiction. The applicant should have at least four passes, including English Language, in not more than two sittings in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or NBAIS.
- A tradesman or tradeswoman need to likewise have a Trade Test or City and Guild Certificate.
- The applicant must have a valid birth certificate from the National Population Commission, a medical facility, or a local government council. An age declaration endorsed by a skilled court can also be sufficient.
- A non-tradesman or non-tradeswoman should be at least 18 years old and not above 22 years by 30 June 2026.
- A tradesman or tradeswoman should not be above 26 years by 30 June 2026.
- Male applicants must be at least 1.68 metres high.
- Female applicants must be at least 1.65 metres tall.
- Applicants must use with their State of Origin, not their State of House.
- The candidate must have a valid certificate of State of Origin.

- Tattoo, piercing or inscription on any part of the body, apart from tribal marks, are not allowed.

- Candidates should provide original copies of all qualifications, consisting of primary and secondary school certificates.
