Federal Polytechnic Oko has opened applications for the post of Director, Medical Solutions. The effective prospect will organize the Medical Centre, report to the Rector, and coordinate secondary personnel; the
advert also says the Rector may appoint other Tasks. Table of contents Main tasks The Director, Medical Solutions will:
- take overall charge of the Medical Centre
- report to the Rector for the smooth running of the Medical Centre
- coordinate the work and activities of subordinate personnel at the Medical Centre
- carry out other duties designated by the Rector
Credentials and experience
The Polytechnic states that each applicant must hold an MBBS from an identified medical school and should be signed up with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
The advert accepts either of these paths:
- 15 years of post-qualification cognate experience
- a postgraduate medical certification in medicine with at least 12 years of post-qualification cognate experience
The candidate needs to likewise:
- provide a current practising licence
- be ICT compliant
- be able to work under pressure and satisfy brief due dates
- disappear than 55 years of ages at the time of assuming task
Tenure, income and conditions of service
The visit runs for a single tenure of five years. The Conditions of Service are the same as those in other Federal Polytechnics; the wage grade is CONMESS 7.
