    2026 Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition for Nigerian Undergraduates

    Kids Without Borders Nigeria, in collaboration with Writinova and with support from Mr. Chidera Anushiem, has actually opened entries for the 2026

    Chidera Anushiem Essay Competitors. The undergraduate essay contest is part of the group’s annual International Day of the Boy-child campaign. It intends to promote intellectual engagement on essential social concerns while giving young men in Nigerian universities a clear platform to write, believe, and contend.

    This year’s subject is:

    “Equality Begins in your home: How Household and Upbringing Shape Attitudes Towards Gender.”

    Prizes and rewards

    The competition uses prize money for the leading three winners:

    • 1st location: N70,000
    • 2nd location: N50,000
    • 3rd place: N30,000

    The top ten participants will likewise receive mentorship chances and other awards. The leading 5 participants will get alleviation rewards as well.

    Who can use

    Candidates must be male undergraduate trainees in Nigerian higher organizations.

    Each entrant should supply a valid student ID card or another appropriate document that shows the student’s name, picture, and institution.

    Essay guidelines and submission guide

    Entries need to fulfill these conditions:

    • The essay needs to be 800 to 1000 words.
    • The file should not bring the entrant’s name or school.
    • The document should include only the essay title and word count.

    How winners will be picked

    After examination, the organisers will shortlist the leading ten essays. Picked writers will then go to a conference, and the last winners will be picked from that group.

    Who can not take part

    Members of Young Boys Without Borders Nigeria and its school networks are not eligible for the competitors.
